Tour FAN Young European Talents Award

To further highlight and support the new voices of European animation, FAN. Young European Talents Award was created to recognise outstanding work by young or up-and-coming directors. There will be two awards: One in 2025 and another in 2026. A jury of international animation experts will be called upon to choose the winner.

The 2025 FAN. Young European Talents Award will be unveiled at Imaginaria – Animated Film Festival (August 17th to August 24rd) in the picturesque town of Conversano (Italy). This short animated films in competition will be screened throughout the week, each of the day dedicated to a specific country. The screenings will take place in the enchanting setting of Monastero di San Benedetto, transforming the historic venue into a haven for animated wonder.

The distinguished jury is composed by Deanna Morse (USA), Joanna Quinn (UK) and Tamás Patrovits (Hungary). The winner will take the spotlight at the award ceremony – August 23rd – to receive the award: a cheque of 5000€.
