2nd edition of FAN’s Symposium: Perspectives on European Animation – Masters and New Voices in Greek Animation

The 2nd Symposium “Perspectives on European Animation” will take place on 26 February 2026 at the premises of AKTO College of Arts in Athens, Greece. The event will also be available online, allowing wider access to its discussions. All sessions will be held in Greek, with the exception of George Sifianos’ lecture, which will be delivered in English.

The Festivals Animation Network (FAN) continues its European showcase with “Best of Animation from Greece,”presented in cooperation with the Internationales Trickfilm-Festival Stuttgart (ITFS). The FAN Frame project is bringing creative animation education to young audiences in multiple countries. Through hands-on workshops led by professional animators, students are exploring storytelling and visual expression, while experimenting with the art of animation in inspiring and playful ways.
