FAN4ALL Commitment

1. Inclusive Governance and Leadership

Imaginaria is committed to strengthening inclusive governance by promoting gender balance in organisational and curatorial roles and valuing a diversity of skills, perspectives and cultural backgrounds. The festival will designate an internal reference person for inclusion and accessibility and adopt shared codes of conduct for staff, collaborators, guests and partners.

2. Representative Programming and Visibility

Imaginaria will further develop a programme that reflects a diversity of identities, artistic voices, geographical origins and creative paths. This approach will apply to film selection, invited guests, mentors, juries and panel discussions, ensuring meaningful and non-tokenistic representation.

3. Accessibility Across All Dimensions

The festival aims to progressively improve physical, sensory and informational accessibility. This includes clearer communication about access conditions, increased attention to venue usability, and the gradual introduction of tools such as accessible subtitles, simplified information materials and screenings adapted to audiences with specific needs.

4. Inclusion of Vulnerable and Underrepresented Groups

Imaginaria considers the engagement of underrepresented and vulnerable audiences a priority. Specific actions will target children, young people, schools, emerging creatives, elderly audiences and socially or culturally marginalised groups. Outreach activities and collaborations with local communities and educational networks will be reinforced.

The festival is committed to fair and transparent working practices, including clear roles, shared agreements and timely communication of collaboration conditions. The festival will maintain and expand measures to ensure economic accessibility, including free or reduced-cost access for schools, young audiences and economically disadvantaged groups. Ticketing policies will remain transparent and aligned with the festival’s inclusion goals.

8. Inclusive Communication and Language

Imaginaria is committed to using inclusive, clear and non-stereotypical communication across all channels. Particular attention will be given to readability, clarity of information and visibility of access conditions in all promotional and editorial materials.

In line with the FAN 4ALL framework, Imaginaria considers education and training as key tools for inclusion. The festival will develop media literacy activities, workshops and educational programmes that foster active participation among young audiences, students and local communities, linking artistic practice with social and civic engagement.
